Frequently Asked Questions about the event

What facilities are at the event?

There are portable toilets for the use of event participants and spectators. There are no showers or running water available for participants and spectators.

There will be food vendors and activities available during the event.

Can we camp the night before?

Yes, camping will be available in designated areas only.

Can we have fires in the camping area?

No. No open fires or BBQs are allowed anywhere on the Estate. Camping stoves are permitted.

Can I bring a caravan?

Caravans and camper vans are welcome, but there is a £10 charge which will be collected by Bodrhyddan Estate. If you are planning to bring one, please notify us in advance (at least 2 weeks before the event) so we can issue a vehicle pass. Note - there is no electric hookup.

Will there be parking facilities?

There is free parking on site for participants and spectators. Our volunteer marshals will guide you where to park upon arrival. Please be nice to them and please be respectful of the Estate grounds!

Will there be food and drink available?

Water, bananas and snacks will be provided in a limited supply for race participants. Runners must bring their own food and drink and take full responsibility for their nutrition during the event. Food vendors will be offering different types of food at reasonable prices during the standard working hours of the day.

How do we register?

Teams should sign up for the event at least 2 weeks beforehand. Tickets must be pre-booked using our online ticketing system.

Registration will be between 5pm-11pm on Friday 19th June. You are free to leave the site and come back after you have registered. Any teams turning up on the day of the event will not be permitted to take part if they have not registered the night before.

Due to our ticketing system and requirement to lease transponders for each team we cannot issue refunds for the event, however you can give your entry to someone else. Please contact us to do so (must to be at least 2 weeks before the event).

The last date for teams to sign up for the event will be Saturday 6th June 2020 (2 weeks before the event).
